13th January 1979

A visit to Glasgow Works on 13th January 1979. As usual, the visits commenced at 14.30 and by the time we had been walked around the works interior and then let loose to roam the yards outside there was very little daylight left. In the foreground is Swindon SC51028 which caught fire at Lochside in April 1977 and was immediately withdrawn. It faces Clayton 8598. Murray Liston.
