A sad end for burnt out Newton Heath allocated Class 104 set 53467 + 53519 which was withdrawn in April 1985. DMCL 53519 is nearest the camera in the old steam shed sidings at Springs Branch in June 1985. The whole set was later covered in plastic sheeting, presumably due to asbestos contamination. S Gaskell.
