27th May 1979

50402 at Llandudno on May 27, 1979. Class 103 DMUs were known as "Park Royal" units, although actually built by Crossley in Manchester. The driver has not changed the blind display so I cannot guess where this train was headed. Jeremy Chapter.

A Park Royal DMU with Crewe displayed on the destination blind of DMBS M50402. It is thought to be at Dallam, between Winwick Junction and Warrington, date unknown. Glyn Weigh.

Park Royal class 103 and Metropolitan-Cammell class 101 DMUs stabled in the former steam motive power depot at Machynlleth on 22nd August 1968. My notes state that the following units were present on shed: M50404-M56158, M50402-M56348 and M51190-M56157. Gordon Edgar.
