A rare visitor to Darlington on 08/12/1980 was this Lincoln based Derby Class 114 unit E50049 + E56025 on a service to York. John Carter.
E56049 and E50049 are seen at Sleaford, on the loop from the Lincoln line to the station. They are working the 8.13pm Lincoln to Sleaford on May 28th, 1966. Note the oval buffers, the diagonal stripe on the blue square coupling code, and the dents on the front in the yellow panel. Michael Mensing.
