Class 116 DMU at Peartree

January 1986

A 3-car Class 116 set at Peartree on te outskirts of Derby. The set number in the cab window appears to read TS608 (and so presumably presumably 51144 + 59596 + 51131. Ian Francis.

Class 116 DMU at Hatton Bank

15th April 1987

Class 116 DMU set T608 with cars 51131 + 59613 + 51144 climbing Hatton Bank on 15 April 1987 with a Leamington to Birmingham Moor Street train. Fire damage to the cutting from a lineside fire is visible and it seems that the bridge over Dark Lane was all that stopped it spreading further south. Peter Tandy.
