Two Class 108 DMUs - the closest containing vehicles 54258 + 53975, the rear 53973 + 54263 - in Preston station on Tuesday 14 June 1988. David Russon.

15th June 1988

Class 108 DMU set N605 (54258 and presumably 53975) at Oxenholme on Wednesday 15 June 1988. David Russon.

Class 108 DMU at Cocker Bar, Ulnes Walton

25th April 1989

A Derby Class 108 two-car DMU formed of cars M54258 & M53975 (N605) was passing the Cocker Bar at Ulnes Walton whilst running through the West Lancashire countryside between Midge Hall and Croston with a Preston to Ormskirk service on April 25th 1989. The set lasted in service until May 1990 and was subsequently scrapped by Booth's of Rotherham. Martyn Hilbert.
