26th June 1989

Class 101 set CH619 (53306 + 53263) leaving Wrexham Central for Hawarden Bridge on 26 June 1989. The station here was closed in 1998 and relocated slightly further west, incorporated into a new shopping centre. Kevin Lane.

Class 101 DMU at Llandudno

6th August 1989

Class 101 Metro Cammell 2-car DMU set CH619 53263+53306 (DMCL+DMSB) leads a Class 108 3-car into Llandudno with a 'Conwy Valley Sunday Shuttle' service 6-8-89 ish. The rear set is former BX377, now CH377, 52049+59390+51943. The Met Cam had been withdrawn by the end of the year. On Tour With the Class 13 Army.

30th September 1990

Class 108 power-twin CH619 (52058 + 51937) departs from Chester with a Hooton service on 30 September 1990. This was one of the Auto-gear sets - as noted by the small text on the lower left of the cab front. On the same date the set is recorded as being transferred from Chester to Tyseley.
