A three-car Derby Class 108 DMU formed of cars M51948, M59389 & M52050 (CH379) was stood on the Down Slow at Leyland station with a Manchester Victoria to Blackpool North service on May 20th 1989. This set had previously been Buxton allocated BX379, but later in 1989 was renumbered to Chester set CH378. Martyn Hilbert.
