Class 121 vehicles 54289 and 55020 depart head away from Maidenhead station with a service to Reading in late 1987. Stuart Mackay Collection.

17th February 1988

The 1252 service from Slough - Windsor & Eton Central has just commenced its journey and curves away from the GWML as it takes the branch. Formed of an OC allocated Class 121 pairing, with power car 55031 leading trailer vehicle 54289, both vehicles have been repainted into the original version of NSE livery with the trailer unusually carrying a warning panel set number and the BR 'arrows of indecision. 17th February 1988.
