Class 101 DMU at Princes Street Gardens

21st April 1979

A two-plus-one Class 101 formation passes through Princes Street Gardens on the last part of its journey to Edinburgh Waverley on 21 April 1979. The DMBS added to the DMBS / DTCL pair is SC51800 with handwritten set number 180 in the cab window. Stuart Mackay Collection.

Class 105 DMU at Dundee

24th September 1980

Cravens Class 105 DMBS SC51476 leads a service to Edinburgh away from Dundee on 24/9/1980. On the front is set number 180 which has been taped over. Derek Hoskins.

Class 105 DMU at Haymarket depot

27th September 1980

A Cravens DMU - with an obsolete set number taped over - next to 26 003 on Haymarket depot, 27 September 1980. It is thought to be DMBS SC51476. Brian Daniels.

25th October 1980

Cravens Class 105 51476 awaits departure from Dundee with the 1220 to Edinburgh on 25/10/1980. Interestingly, Fauldhouse is on the destination blind. Derek Hoskins.
