Neasden South Junction. The view on 9 June 1977; the class 115 DMU is working from High Wycombe to Marylebone, with 25312 waiting with tanks destined for Marylebone diesel depot. The signal box closed in 1989 and was rebuilt on the Great Central Railway at Ruddington. Kevin Lane.

As the chalk on the manifold tells us, this is the No.1 engine on 51666. The two rectangular boxes in the centre under the stepboard contain 'EP' valves, the larger box to the right just before the radiator (with the grille) contains the relays that control the EP valves. British Rail.
