This Park Royal class 103 D.M.U. DTCL M56157 was withdrawn in November 1980 from Chester depot. By mid 1982 the windows and doors had been covered with plywood from the inside. Somewhere between those dates I photographed it at this unknown location. It was cut up in June 1984. Curly42.

A two-car Met-Camm DMU with M54356 closest, date/location unknown, circa mid-1980s. The vehicle was based at Chester until late 1985 when it moved to Cardiff and shortly after placed in store. ADB975426, which was converted from Swindon Inter-City DMBSL 79098 to become a mess van part of the Bletchley TMD Breakdown Train. It was replaced around 1977 and was then acquired by the Chief Civil Engineering department and noted a several locations around the Midlands. Date / location if this location is unknown, appearances suggest it could be en-route to scrapping at Snailwell circa May 1982. K F Tomes Duckwailk.
