Met-Camm set 223 Dundee at 1346 on Saturday 7th April 1979 - note the window bars on the DMC passenger doors and lack of destination blind - a recent transfer from the Newcastle area? Not sure why the DMU should be running as the terminating service from Edinburgh is due in at 1352... could be early as the red tail light is still illuminated and the station clock may be a little slow? Amid the gloom of a late autumn evening at Dundee Tay Bridge station, Gateshead's generator 47412 has arrived with 1E26 16:30 Aberdeen to Leeds. In the bay platforms to the left, Haymarket's class 101 204 has just arrived with 2L52 16:23 from Edinburgh as 101 222 waits to leave with 2P15 18:10 to Perth. Set 204 has had it's number taped over, and 222 also looks as if it's been altered. Bruce Galloway.
