The Branch Line Society "Fiddichburger No 2) railtour is seen at Burghead on 27 August 1979 formed of Gloucester RC&W Co "bubble car" 55002, new in 1958. The station closed to passengers in 1931 but was still open at this time for the delivery of grain to the maltings.
