Details

Eastfield's BRCW set 456 (53464 + 59168 + 53517) arrives at Waverley in the spring of 1988.
It seems to have drawn a crowd of young admirers in the background, a spot where I was first introduced to (green) DMUs and locos moving around here at a similar age.
This long-time Manchester set came up to Scotland in 1987 but lasted less than 2 years before living out a final year of service at Newton Heath.
