This class 104/107 3-car hybrid DMU set is seen in at Ardrossan Harbour Winton Pier Station prior to departure with the morning boat train to Glasgow on November 4, 1985. The station only had a sporadic service through the day connecting with ferry sailings to and from the Isle of Arran although the sign on the footbridge reads to the Belfast ferry this route had finished in the 1970's. This 3-car train would form service 1T82 09.35 to Glasgow Central.
