E79152 at the front of the 11.35am Newcastle - Leeds City about to depart from York on May 19, 1962. This was one of the four-car sets, un-repainted since new as all vehicles still have the original lion over wheel crests. The cab front has had whiskers applied, and a dummy socket added for the jumper cables. There could be draft problems in the cab judging by the amount of papers shoved down the front of the drivers desk.
