New Holland Pier on 15/5/79. The station served an area of North Lincolnshire for ferry services across the Humber to Hull. Services ceased in August 1981, when the Humber Bridge was opened. A Class 114 sits in the station with a Cleethorpes service. The walkway is like a long platform with New Holland Town station. Stephen Burdett.

Taken on 17th May 1979, this photo shows Class 20 no. 20061 at Sheffield with the Tinsley breakdown train, which has come to the rescue of a de-railed Class 114 DMU at the southern end of the station.
