Evening at Spalding Town. A Cravens diesel multiple unit (the vehicles are thought to be E56439 + E50249) stands at Spalding station on the evening of Saturday 24th April 1976. 51257 is part of set 64 at Spalding on 19/4/77. The Class 105 set is attached to a 3-car set of a different class, which is mostly off the platform. There is also a 3-car high density set in the sidings. Ian Francis.

The crew change ends at Spalding, they will depart with the 13:05 service to Peterborough, 23 July 1977. So what has happened around the destination blind on E56448? My guess is that it was leaking and an attempt was made to seal it with a water based sealant, which was then out in the rain at speed before it had properly set.
