The driver has grabbed the tablet on the departure from Reedham station on the the route to Great Yarmouth via Berney Arms, date unknown. Some East Anglia DMU types had rubber pads fitted behind the drivers door to soften the blow where the tablet swung back and hit the bodywork. A Met-Camm DMBS is at the front, but roof details tell us it is paired with a Cravens DTC and working with another Cravens driver trailer set. Steve Davies Collection.

Taken from a Norwich allocated Cravens class 105 dmu on a Lowestoft-Norwich service, curving round towards the 1902 built Reedham Swing Bridge that spans the River Yare. Reedham Swing Bridge Signal box that stands on the south bank of the river adjacent to the bridge can just be seen in front of the train. 21st August 1985. Andrew J Crowther.
