W51343 was six months old when seen in Reading depot, 24th October 1960. Adrian Vaughan.
Reading on an unknown date in 1961. Along with two southern sets coach 549 and 551 we have a whiskered unlined Western Region Pressed Steel DMU waiting to depart for Paddington on the 2A65. The KDH Archive.

A couple of Pressed Steel triples sit in Reading station with a train for Paddington in July 1962. W51352 is recorded as the closest vehicle on the negative sleeve, and although the image is grainy it looks like it could actually be W51353. Stuart Mackay Collection.

A Swindon Cross-Country DMU, with Paddington on the blind this is probably Reading depot. The mixed liveries (the centre car is still in green) suggest late 1960s. The DMSL is from the small 51582-90 batch, of which 2, 3 and 8 spend time at Reading during 1968/9. The blue / grey vehicle on the right is a Class 123 TCK. Graham Clark.
