An official image (London Midland Region publicity negative DM903) showing a four-car Met-Camm set in Carlisle Citadel station on 7 February 1957. These South Gosforth allocated DMUs had taken over the services from Newcastle a few days earlier on the 4th. Closest is DMCL E50148, the others should be TSL E59047, TBSL E59054 and DMCL E50149, all with 2+2 seating. British Railways.
