DMU Accident

Approach to Hull Paragon - February 1985

An incident at Hull, on the approach to Hull Paragon involving a Met-Camm and a Class 108. A track circuit fault allowed the points to be moved under an outgoing DMU to Beverley. The train then sideswiped an incoming DMU from Scarborough which had just started to move under clear signals.
