DMU Accident

Castleton - 27/05/64

In the late afternoon a down Calder Valley train suffered a fire at Castleton station.  It was extinguished in the platform and the unit removed into the yard at Castleton by 46439.

There is some confusion over the date, it may have been on the 30th May not the 27th!
