In 2004 the vehicle was bought by Chiltern Railways for conversion to an intermediate power car for it's water jetting train. It was converted at LH Group Services, near Burton-on-Trent, but is seen below back at the Birmingham Railway Museum, en-route to Aylesbury. 23rd September 2004. The cab end (nearest) was cut off and a gangway end built on, with roller shutter doors, in case the water containers (just seen in the doorway) ever had to be removed . Stuart Mackay
