Update from Kevin: "Progress is going well. All the interior is removed apart from the bulkhead walls and toilet. Four external doors and wooden door jams are off (With the last two tomorrow!) The rear saloon and rear vestibule have had their rotten plywood floors lifted. Both of the rear saloon hardwood floor bearers are totally rotten and need replacement and the toilet side (No2 side) body supports in the rear saloon have become totally detached from the underframe due to rot.

Its not just pulling apart jobs that have been done! New blanking plates have been fitted to the roof, with just five left to do. And something strange that I've not seen before... There is no green! Well nearly! Green only exists on the vehicle ends and under the later added aluminium door frame edges. All of the body sides have at some time been taken right back to clean steel and just have an undercoat and one coat of BR blue! I thought at first this must be due to a lower half reskin, but its the same right up to and under the gutter."
