The end of 51177 at Caerwent, 22/1/04. The cab was specially cut off...

...and saved with that off 53211. 

At the MRC, a stand was made so that the remains of 51177 could stand properly, and replacement patches welded in where required.

A frame was built at the back, and this plated over.

A replica headcode box was made...

..and the cab was painted.

A transformer was fitted so the lights would work. It now resides it someone's back garden. All Stuart Mackay
