1. Lightly lubricate the passenger communication valve spindle and the associated linkage with the specified general oil (see DATA 1).

2. Operate each valve a few time to allow the oil to penetrate the spindle housing space. Wipe off excess oil.

3. On interior mounted lever and plunger type valves, wipe off any surplus oil to avoid soiling the vehicle interior.
