Department Process Specification No. 24 This is the document that works would have used when overhauling heaters. It is quite technical, using test equipment not available to most preservationists, but still a very useful document. It's dated October 1972, and so doesn't cover many of the variations and alterations. A newer version is the document WOSS 830-4, and many of the drawings will be recognisable from the Smiths Spare Parts book.
