A Class 123 Swindon Inter-City set arrives at Hull Paragon with a service from Manchester Piccadilly on 29th May 1978. E52099, complete with lamp and end doors brings up the rear. Also in this view are a Cravens Class 105 2-car set waiting to travel up the Scarborough line, a Metro-Cammell Class 101 unit and a Class 124 Trans-Pennine set. On the right, 03073 with it's match truck ticks over in the parcels sidings. Syd Young.

I have fond memories of this photo. The day before I turned 21 last day of October 1980. Keadby traversing bridge which moves out of the way of the Sheffield & South Yorkshire Navigation and a Class 123 is crossing.
