A mixed 3 car DMU set, 120518, crosses the River Clyde and approaches Glasgow Central terminus on the afternoon of 29th July 1986. Leading is Class 120 DMSL 53647 with CL107 TSL 59063 in the middle of the set and Cl 120 DMBS 53741 bringing up the rear. All 3 vehicles would be scrapped at Snailwell by January 1988. Set 120 535, on the right with 53733 leading 59065 and 53215, leaves Edinburgh Waverley on 9/4/88, forming the 15.10 to Dunblane. As it does so, it passes set 120 532 (53699/59571/53658), coupled to 120533 (53682/59532/53700) which is not visible. These latter two sets will form the 15.13 to Cowdenbeath. Leonard Rogers.

The various bits of text tell us this was taken circa June 1977, the C1 completion date and buckeye exam being 11th June, the work being done at 7076 (Glasgow Works).
