Two BRC&W 'Calder Valley' sets at Arthington at 4.44pm on July 17, 1965, thought to be the late running 1.25pm Southport - Manchester Victoria - Bradford Exchange - Leeds - Harrogate service. Michael Mensing.

A seven-car DMU formation at Wyke (Bradford) on 21 September 1966. Closest is a BRC&W Calder Valley set, the four-car has Met-Camm vehicles and two of another type, they have airvac vents so possibly also Calder Valley cars. Stuart Mackay Collection.

All change at Leeds Central as the Liverpool to Harrogate train arrives formed of a Birmingham RC&W DMU. The headcode window is so dirty the headcode cannot be seen, if it is displayed at all. This would be mid afternoon as the Harrogate to Liverpool service which I caught arrived a little later, circa 1966/7. Edgehillsignallman@Flickr.

August 1968 - platforms 6, 5 and 4 at Halifax. A BRCW 3-car dmu is on platform 4 forming one of the hourly Leeds-Manchester Victoria trains. Use of this platform by the Manchester trains only took place on a Saturday to aid management on how best to rationalise the station layout in the future. Mr Deltic.
