Cheedale Halt was on the Buxton - Great Rocks freight only line and was opened on the 5th July 1987, it was used by Peak Rail's Rambler's service from Edale-Buxton service, about 3 return trips a day, and closed after the last train had left on the 13th September 1987, so a week after I took this, the freight line is still open.
