With Leicester on the destination blind a (blue square) Derby Lightweight twin is seen in Birmingham New Street station in January 1961. Closest seems to be M56268 which was allocated to Toton at the time. Michael Mensing.

Two Class 108 Two-Car sets crossing from the Down Fast to the Down Slow at Killingbeck (Leeds) so it can stop at Cross Gates station which only had platforms on the slow lines while working a Leeds to York train, not the best photo I've taken but it shows the layout and signals at Killingbeck box. 20 July 1961. A four-car Derby and four-car Met-Camm unit on an excursion from Morpeth at Reedsmouth in September 1961. The Hexham to Riccarton Junction line is to the left, with the Wansbeck Valley line to the right. Reedsmouth had closed to regular traffic in 1956, to close completely ten years later.
