An instamatic image of the 'Ayr Restorer' railtour at the limit of BR track at Waterside, 10-04-82. This was the Ayr - Dalmellington branch, closed in April 1964 but still open for freight. The gable end facing is the old Waterside station. A713 Ayr - Castle Douglas road to the left. This has now been re-aligned away to the left. Gordon Thomson.

A Class 107 set in Kilmacolm station on the 18th June 1981, having just arrived with the 08:07 ex-Glasgow Central. The set number - 444 - is inside the left cab window, the vehicles are probably 52031 + 59804 + 52005. Hamish Stevenson.
