Running 'wrong line' at Saxmundham after a snow shower on Wednesday February 8th 1978 is Norwich based Cravens twin set no. 54 (E56436 + E51254) forming the 10.50 Lowestoft - Ipswich. Still retaining the twin headcode boxes, this original style of front end was rapidly disappearing by 1978 as cars went through Doncaster Works, reappearing with flush fronts. It's funny how you can curse things, but then years later find that they add a strange charm to a photograph. I'm not sure which is the most rateable here, the Cravens or the classic pushchair? The occupant of the latter if favoured with longevity must be over 30 now !
