Sc79109 at the head of a three-car Swindon Inter-City set in Glasgow Queen Street on 12th January, 1957. The power car has no crest on the bodyside, but is carrying an 'Edinburgh - Glasgow' roof board. George Bett.

Two Swindon Cross-Country sets arrive into Glasgow Queen Street with the 10am ex-Edinburgh on the 14th May 1960. At the time six of the seven ScR sets were allocated to Hamilton. On the left is Swindon Inter-City leading DMBS 79111. Michael Mensing.

The 11.0pm Glasgow - Ayr service (formed 51022 + 59392 + 51032) was involved in a sidelong collision with Clan 72001 'Clan Cameron' when departing from St Enoch. DMS 51022 is seen after the incident, it would be returned to traffic after repair. Unknown Newspaper.

A three-car Met-Camm DMU forms the 2.40pm service to Kirkcaldy seen awaiting departure from Glasgow Queen Street station on 27 May 1961. Closest is SC51462 allocated to Dundee at the time. A Derby Heavyweight set in St Enoch station in June 1966. The station closed on the 26th of that month, its services were transferred to Central station on Monday 27th. note the first class stripe on the closest vehicle, which seems to be 52014, and there seems to be a set number under the drivers window (although unreadable).
