A three-car TBSL Met-Camm DMU (with early crest) in Appleby East station with a Dalrington - Penrith (via Barnard Castle) service on 29 July 1958. Note the number 22 on the left lamp bracket, many NE sets carried these numbers at the time. Stuart Mackay Collection.
