DMUs on Stockport Viaduct on a Sunday in November, 1976. The 'wires' were turned off and engineering trains were around Longsight, the Inter-City trains were diesel hauled with dead electrics behind the diesel. Taken from a Derby unit on the slow line standing in for an EMU, probably from Alderley Edge, Crewe or Stoke, gradually overtaking an ex-Buxton BRCW unit.
