The old & the new at Kilmarnock Open Day on 11-09-88. Classic dmu traction (101364 53242 and presumably 59080 + 53268) alongside to date the only visit of a class 318 emu (from the neighbouring Ayr - Glasgow line) to Kilmarnock station. However these emus were all refurbished in 2005 - 06 in the nearby Barclay works.
