Away from its usual area are cars SC51249 SC59542 SC53146 (101 321) in Strathclyde PTE livery. Although Heaton (HT) depot, Newcastle, received some varied DMUs in Autumn 1987, these cars were never allocated there, so it was probably en route for works attention. Indeed, I photographed this unit at Glasgow in 1990.
