A dull, grey and wet morning on platform 2 at Wigan Wallgate sees Class 104 53535 at the front of the 10.00 departure for Kirkby. This 1958 vintage car was by then showing its age but it lasted in service until February 1986, before being scrapped almost immediately. 20th October 1984.
