Hertford North station looking north, with a Cravens DMU, 08/06/1963. The station, which opened in 1924, is situated on the 'Hertford Loop' which runs parallel with the GNR main line between Wood Green and Stevenage. On the right of the photo is the single track connection to Hertford Cowbridge (the original Hertford North station) and Hertford East.
