The slide is noted as capturing 51324 at Crewe DTMD on 30 April 1988. The vehicle had been withdrawn from Newton Heath the previous month and would be cut at Vic Berry's in May. With the speedo cable removed from the leading bogie and bogie dangling from a crane st the rear it looks like a bogie change is underway.
