The Hertfordshire Railtours "Valleybasher" tour on 3 May 1980 was mainly loco-hauled, but for the trip to Newport Docks a six-car BRCW class 118 suburban unit was used (W51329 closest). The train is seen here at the Docks with the 1906 Transporter Bridge over the river Usk the main feature in the background.
