A Swindon Works image (negative 5CR 74) showing the interior of brand new Cross-Country DMBC 50697 on 9 May 1957. This is taken in the first class saloon from the centre of the vehicle looking to the cab. The patterned formica used on the walls is also used on the partition but the ceilings are plain.
