A very smart looking Metro-Cammell unit freshly repainted into the final NSE livery with black cab window surrounds. West Ealing station had also just been refurbished, complete with fancy tiles and a not too informative clock! The vehicle numbers for set L840 were 53311, 59117 and 53322.
