Details

A Swansea based Derby Class 108 power twin DMU, set S948 (presumably 53928 + 51565), heads for Crewe with a passenger service on the line from Salop Goods Junction, Crewe, on either the 8th or 9th December 1988.

Seen from the cab of 37797, stood at Crewe Bank SB's outer home signal at the head of 6V07, the empty Cawoods service from Ellesmere Port to South Wales. The small LH signal are would eventually be cleared for me to enter the Up Goods Loop at Crewe bank.
