Ayr Variety. Largs station and an Ayr allocated BRCW Class 104 DMS Sc53525 is sitting at Platform 3. A Class 116 is visible in the background in the siding adjacent to Platform 1. However, the centre road has been lifted and is probably in advance of full scale track rationalisation and electrification. Probably January / February 1985.
