A Neville-Hill based four-car BRC&W set at Hornsea on October 10th 1964. It had arrived with the 09.35 service from Hull Paragon and would return on the 10.15 service. The stock would then form the RCTS Hull Docks tour. Although not part of the tour the RCTS promoted the journey (though arrangements with British Railways) on the regular service trains before the tour as the branch would close the following week. A similar a trip to Withernsea was promoted following the tour as it was also to close. This power car is believed to be 50577, 50589 was at the far end.
